The 2026 SFRC Parks-Polyfecta is an opportunity for operators of all license levels to get out in the local parks and operate away from their QTH setups. Pack your gear and pack your lunch, it’s radio communications time!

The date is set for Saturday May 23rd for small groups or individuals to operate on multiple bands and in multiple modes from San Francisco Parks (or other Bay Area Parks). Attached is a list of all the parks (and mini-parks) in San Francisco, most with a link to park details. The list includes Federal, State and County parks. Each park has an assigned number for this event that you can use when making contacts … or you can use the park name and specific location within the park if needed. For those operating from a park outside of San Francisco, you can use the name of the park and county (or state) when making contacts.

Members of the San Francisco Radio Club will activate on San Francisco Bay on Monday, June 1st, 2026 from 6:30pm-9pm local time. We will be on at least 3 different bands.

Recap: On April 6th, 2026, members of the San Francisco Radio Club activated on San Francisco Bay, we had 25 contacts in 2.5 hours. Several club members chased and contacted us on at least two bands.

We considered this activation as a success! Winds were 10-20 knots and had mild weather (for SF Bay) and were treated to a beautiful golden hour before sunset.
