- Every operator on the boat uploads their own ADIF log, under their own callsign, to the activation it belongs to.
- An activation counts for an operator when their log has at least 4 contacts within 24 hours. Each operator on the boat qualifies separately.
- Chasers earn credit from activators’ logs, with no account or upload needed. Each activator you work on each activation is one credit, so working two operators on the same boat earns two.
- Contacts between operators on the same activation do not count, either toward the 4-contact minimum or as chaser credit. Contacts with operators on a different boat do count.
- Duplicate contacts (same callsigns, band and mode on the same activation) count once.
- Portable and maritime-mobile suffixes are ignored: W6ABC/MM counts as W6ABC.
- When a club callsign is on the air, the club call earns the activation and the operator named in the log (ADIF OPERATOR field) earns it too.
